the good thing about taking a 7 week trip is that you get to do a lot of things that typically we miss out on. one big part of our journey was that my cousin was getting married. it was so much fun to be there to help and celebrate at the showers, bachelorette, and of course the wedding!

 

 

and the cuteness of these 3 was enough to knock me over.

 



we are so happy and proud of nikki and eddie. can't wait to see what awesome blessings life has in store for them.

pretty much coen loved being apart of their wedding, can you tell?

me and my bro, we still got it. that is, if we ever really had it?!

reverse order, but this was one of the showers i got to attend. it was just super darling.

while we were in oregon my dad and his cousin took coen fishing out on klamath lake. no joke, coen caught a huge trout. like the biggest. on a tiny kid pole! that night coen woke me up twice to tell me that he was, "just dreaming about fish mama."

holy heck. i am behind. painfully, embarrassingly behind. i really hate making excuses. even though i have some good ones. so i won't. your welcome.

 

i will however not sleep until i am caught up. that is my gift to my daughter for her first birthday. thoughtful?

 

here we go...a million months ago we took a 7 week trip to the mainland. our last two weeks were spent in California. it was great. we hung out in truckee with the kids, swam in lake Tahoe, reconnected with some pi phi ladies and ended our mainland tour in marin county.
